Overview

In the context of LandingLens, metadata is extra information associated with an image. This allows us to organize, split, and track specific aspects of our data in the Data Browser.

You can tag images as you upload them, or create tags and add them to images later. To create a tag, navigate to Metadata under the Data tab, select Add A New Field, name the Field, set the conditions and save. Choose from a variety of types including Text, Numbers and Boolean values, as well as pre-define choices or leave it free-form, where a user can add new tags on the fly.

Note: We automatically generate a "split" metadata field to house your data splits as you work through the platform process.
